Holiday Inn Express in Thomasville, AL – OPEN
The City of Thomasville announces the construction of a new Thomasville Holiday Inn Express to be built on Highway 43 South adjacent to the Thomasville Medical Center Development. Developed by Thomasville Hospitality, LLC, in partnership with eds (Economic Development Strategies) of America. Construction financing will be provided by Capstone Bank. Thomasville Industrial Development Board has acquired the property and created a Cooperative District for the development.
The proposed new Thomasville Holiday Inn Express, part of IHG Brands, will provide Holiday Inn Express’ legendary superior service and quality in a warm, friendly, comfortable environment, the latest in hotel technology, competitive rates, and economic opportunities.
Thomasville, known as Southwest Alabama’s Success Story, is an innovative, inviting regional hub that creates opportunities for citizens, businesses, and industries. A sixty-acre Medical Park is being developed directly adjacent from the proposed new Holiday Inn Express, featuring a thirty million-dollar regional hospital.
The Honorable Sheldon Day, Mayor of the City of Thomasville, is cited as the primary catalyst behind the economic growth of this charming Southern city as a regional commercial and creative hub.
